Week 30
Dear Everyone,
This week was a really good week. We had great lessons,
great opportunities to serve, and I learned a lot!
One thing I want to mention is how great the ward here
treats us. I feel like I've really gotten to know a lot of the members here and
that they trust us. We have been able to take them to lessons and have lessons
in their homes. They want to help us and support us in every way they can. I
have loved getting to know them and see them change and their testimonies grow
as well as the testimonies of our investigators. We are teaching some amazing
people who I really love. I love the lessons we have with them and I love all
that I learn about them. My testimony that we are all unique has grown so much.
We all bring different talents to this life we live and we can share them with
others. Our talents can be used to bless other's lives. Heavenly Father wants us
to be instruments in His hands because He knows how much joy can come from us
choosing to be a part of brightening the lives of others. We are meant to have
joy in this life. And if we follow the commandments, we will receive a fullness
of joy in the life after this one. Our Heavenly Father wants us to have that
joy. I want to ask everyone a question just for reflection.
What brings joy into your life?
I think we learn a lot about ourselves when we ask ourselves
questions and that is an important one. Another good one is, do we want more
joy in our lives? Are we finding it?
And, are we looking for it in the right places?
I've found a lot of joy in being a missionary. And I think
it mostly comes from helping others. So try it out, help someone else. As President
Monson used to ask "do you want to paint a bright spot on your soul
today?" Serve someone this week!!
