Week 22

Dear Everyone,

This week was great! My new companion is a cool guy from Mississippi! He's 18 and hilarious! I think we'll have a lot of good experiences serving together here in Rosamond. I'll be training him but it feels kind of like we'll be doing training together because I've been learning a lot too. I'm just on the other side of the table now haha. As missionaries we're all supposed to listen to our real senior companion, who is the Spirit. I definitely feel that way considering I don't know everything. My Mission President told me last week that the best thing we can do for the missionaries we train is to get out and do good missionary work. So that's what we did this week! How thankful I am that Heavenly Father doesn't expect me to be perfect right now, because I would not be meeting that expectation! But I can always make improvements.

Haha I cant write a super long email today but I have pictures! Last pday we had to take a trip out to North Edwards to meet with the District Leader (my trainer, Elder Whiteley) so we decided to go out to the Borax mine because we never did that when we were companions! It was super fun haha Elder Whiteley got transferred and so it was a good farewell pday for him. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures!
